Vision + approach

I believe the ‘economy’ can and must be understood through geography. How economic processes are shaped through specific spatial configurations - municipal, rural, regional, national, global - directly determine developmental outcomes. Ascertaining, mapping, explaining and evaluating this dynamic relationship comprise the four pillars of my research and teaching.
